Josh McDaniels should be fired.
If I was Pat Bowlen I would show him the door and anoint him the shortest termed head coach in NFL history. He took one of the most explosive offenses in the league last season, and one of the most prolific QB/WR duos since Peyton Manning to Marvin Harrison, and he wiped his ass with them.
The job used to be gift wrapped in a guaranteed 24-35 points per game, that really only needed some defensive pieces so they could at least stop some people. Now they need EVERYTHING.
And while we're at it - when the hell did Matt Cassell become the second coming of Drew Brees?! The guy has a decent season - in large part because he's got some of the best weapons and coaching in recent history (Wes Welker, Randy Moss, a stable of solid backs, etc.) on his side - and now its time to put 4500 yards and 25 TDs on the line to get him? What am I missing here?!
The guy got wasted by Pitt in week 13 to the tune of a 39.4 QB rating, then proceeded to beat up on the likes of Seattle, Oakland, and Buffalo.
What a bunch of sheep.
