I'm not real excited about the draft this season - but then again, I'm never really all that interested. It's such a crap shoot. When your team has a real need, often they overreach. And when they don't have a need, its hard to get excited because there's no way to predict who your team might have its eyes on. Actually I think it all boils down to my apathy towards college football.

In any case, I SHOULD be excited because this season the Steelers don't have a dire need (you could argue that OL and DL are pretty pressing, but they don't necessarily need someone to push in there next season). The past few drafts where there was no glaring need, the Steelers picked up the likes of Lamar Woodley, Big Ben and Troy Polamalu, so conventional wisdom would tell you that this season could bring another future legend to the squad. Not to mention there's always the possibility of hidden gem undrafted free agents like James Harrison, Willie Parker, etc.

Who will it be this weekend?
